Crisp, mild and sweet with a thin skin — the easy crowd-pleaser for lunch kits and snacks.
Honey-sweet and low in acid, with a firm, juicy bite. Slow to brown once sliced, so it holds up in a lunch kit.
Known for their large to jumbo size and incredible flavour. A light green or yellow background under a brick-red overcoat with a hint of pink, sometimes speckled with white stars. The flesh is white, dense and crisp.
A curated mixed case of two or more fresh, seasonal apple varieties (such as Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, or Gala) hand-picked from orchards in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley.
Gala, Ambrosia and Okanagan Blend, ordered in a single tap — $3 off the total.
Order as many boxes as you like — set the quantity on the checkout page.
Pick-up, not delivery
Orders close at noon on Wednesday, September 30. Nothing can be added after that.
Boxes are picked up at Wes Hosford Elementary the week of October 13. They will be available for pickup only for one day, which will be emailed to you. There is no delivery.
We'll email you the exact day and pick-up window once the apples arrive at the school. That's why checkout asks for your name, email and phone number — please use ones you check.
About the apples
Our apples come from Davison Orchards in Vernon, BC, where the Davison family has grown apples since 1933. This fundraiser runs in the fall because that is when the apples are picked — which is what keeps the quality high and the fruit fresh.
"A fresh Gala has a gloriously mild sweet flavour."
